At Scalenghe, my grandparents Michele and Lucia set up a milk collection site from the best farms of the Pinerolo valleys. A countryside dairy, answering the taste for authenticity of the time.

In the 1960’s, we started the production of soft cheeses: Reginella, Capriolo and Paglierina immediately conquered the tables of the Turin families, who could now enjoy the Dolce Vita after the hunger of the war and post-was years.

The Scalenghe dairy became outdated and unsuited to the production pace and the new hygiene and safety regulations. That is when we set up the new Frossasco dairy. There, we started the production of the Pezzana Tomino to cook, which in no time became the leading product of the dairy, uniting foodies of all ages and tastes.


Today, the history goes on...
With many people who, every day with passion and care, collect and examine the milk, produce the cheeses, follow their ageing, package them, deliver them. And love them. Because good things come from the love of those making them: that is why everyone loves them.
